Steak 'n Shake - Locust Grove

Did not enjoy my steak burger today. I haven?t been to a Steak and Shake restaurant in months maybe a year or two. My first time at this location. So not sure if it?s this particular restaurant or Steak and Shakes in general. Maybe there?s been a changewith the burger. The burger was hot but not flavorful. The fries were cold. The shake was good.

Steak N Shake is just one of those franchises that hasn't quite figured out how to optimize the customer experience. Not quite fast food, but not quite a diner either. It's not that the food is bad, just not a lot of the menu items stand out in a way thatmakes you want to drop in unless you just happen to be driving past one. This particular location gave decent enough service butonce again nothing that makes you say I want to eat here.

Our server was very nice and every time she passed our table, she checked in 2 to see if we needed something

Steak and shake are better than five young. five young have the better riders, but steak and shakes supply anywhere else with larger portions of food and a fraction of the cost. Do not forget to taste their special season, which is available on every table for their pleasure.

I don't understand how a place is consistent? in the weeds? or stressed around running around for accusations when most of the time there is no one eating inside and it's just the drive thru. expect them to sit in the drive thru for a dae before they have taken their order - they may have to wait an additional 30 minutes to get their order.
