Mama's Pizza Subs - Locust Grove

The pizza tasted great! It was more expensive than we were expecting. We're always trying to eat cheap as a family of 6, and the medium pizzas were smaller than we expected, so they didn't go very far. But, the pizza tasted great!

Pizza is OK but I really love their baked spaghetti service is always top rate

Being a Philadelphia native I have had the privilege of eating some of the most highly regarded cheesesteaks in the world. Gumba’s, Curlys, Pats, Genos to name a few. Traveling for work I stumbled upon this pizza shop somewhere in Virginia. Reading the reviews I decided I would give it a shot. I always cringe when calling it a steak and cheese, the correct Philadelphia pronunciation is a cheesesteak but when in Rome. To my surprise, this cheesesteak was very good. I got a cheesesteak with mushrooms only. The side of onion rings was also good. Is this a five star cheesesteak? Probably not. But the cleanliness of facility and overall quality make it a five star to me

They have the best burgers I've ever had, I live in Virginia Beach, and Mama's beats any burgers I've had at any restaurants I've been to.

We have yet to have a bad experience at Mama's! For years every time we eat here or order food to go, the food is wonderful, the staff is AMAZING, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Not only that, Mama's has always been an active part and supporter of the schools, organizations and community. They are the very essence of what a mom and pops restaurant should be! Vegetarian options: My son and daughter-in-law always find vegetarian dishes to eat that are VERY DELICIOUS!!! Parking: Plenty of spots...large parking lot Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly! Wheelchair accessibility: Our Adults with Special Needs group meets here regularly for dinner and they are able to serve all of our friends in wheelchairs!
