Koji Japanese Steakhouse Sushi

I always enjoy visiting this place. It tends to be quite busy, but the service is consistently fast and friendly, and the sushi is incredibly fresh!

I placed a to-go order, and the employee confirmed it back to me accurately. However, when I received my food, it wasn’t what I had ordered. The staff member insisted he had read the order correctly, even though it was clearly wrong. Although he did correct my order, he made it seem like it was my fault. Really? I've been to many hibachi restaurants and found them a bit pricey. While the food itself was good, the to-go service left a lot to be desired. My advice: always check your order before you leave!

My son and I came for the Hibachi experience about 30 minutes before closing time, so we expected not to be served, but to our surprise we became the Hibachi experience as well as two other guests. The hibachi Koch was friendly and very entertaining. he also communicated well with the guests as far as everyone likes to cook his food. The food was really good, I wouldn't say the best I've ever eaten, but it's up there. They do not use much salt or any MSG I believe this is the reason why people say that food is a sort of Bland, but I think this is a good thing for the demographic area they are located that has more elderly people than young people in this area. My only complaint is the soup and the salad needs some improvement. The salad has to go completely, it is only yellow and white iceberg with a kind of house thousand Iceland dressing and the soup crispy wontons or puff Chris whatever these are a little disappear, but taste good. I'll go back if I'm ever in Lokust Grove and want a Hibachi experience. I ordered Kaiser's dinner of fillet mignon and chicken with a child dinner of steak and chicken with a sequence of spider roll sushi. $60 for luck.

First order from here wanted to try a new sushi place, so I ordered a Kani Salad, Shrimp Tempura Roll, Mango California Roll. Kani Salad was not made the right way, Shrimp Tempura the avocado was brown on every single, the shrimp Tempoura was really soft, Mango California roll for the first time trying Mango was okay, but every single roll fell apart once I tried to get it with my hops. Asked for 3 Yum Yum Sauce I was charged extra for 3 Spicy Mayo Sauce Eel Sauce. I'll never eat here again or recommend it to everyone. Even everything was cold when it was usually warm. I even threw it not long after the food I never threw my sushi rolls when I order from Rock n Roll Sushi .. Really disappointed. I wish I could get a refund.

Great place to visit with your family! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! They have large portions of food as well! The sushi and hibachi are delicious!
