La Valle Incantata - LOCRI

This family owned farm to table Bed and Breakfast is hidden away amongst the lush hills near the main town of Gerace. The B B is surrounded by an olive grove, small vineyard, and has a swimming pool. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable with spectacular views of the countryside. Mimmo, the owner and manager, is personable and makes many of the incredible food products available. The meals were a highlight with Fatto in Casa , made in house olive oil, sausage, pasta and of course wine. He also offers many specialty items such as olives, marinated vegetables, and a very flavorful tuna pate '. If you enjoy hot, spicy Calabrese style foods as do I, you will be in heaven.

An amazing place nestled in the hills, food was out of this world a really pleasant day out, highly recommendable to anyone visiting this region of Italy!!! Thank you.

We were in Southern Italy and Sicily for 10 day- this was our best meal by far that should say enough ! . Lovely place for a couple, family or a large special occasion. Everything was special, and was at reasonable prices. A must place to eat , if you are close to Gerace, Italy

La cucina è eccellente, ieri sera durante il festival degli artisti di strada a Gerace, abbiamo avuto il piacere di assaggiare il loro piatto della Valle Incantata e, come dice il nome, il piatto era incantevole. Inoltre, la loro disponibilità e gentilezza nonostante la grande affluenza di persone era notevole.
