La Cascade - Lo Barnechea

We made a reservation for our anniversary and had a personalized table with a small bouquet of flowers, which was exactly as I had imagined. The food was very delicious, but the highlight of the night was the exquisite desserts. The good service was also appreciated.

We went out to dinner last week at a very nice restaurant with good French music setting the tone. I loved the ambiance from the moment we walked in. We started with a salmon cake as an appetizer, which was tasty but a bit lacking in quantity and flavor. My fillet, cooked perfectly to my liking, was delicious. However, my friend's lomo was overcooked despite ordering it medium rare. We informed the waiter, who promptly replaced it with a perfectly cooked dish. The fries were a bit too soft for my liking, lacking the desired crispiness, but the bernaise sauce was delicious. There was some confusion with the dessert, as the crêpe suzette was good but lacking in orange liqueur and portion size. Overall, the service was excellent despite a few inconsistencies in the dishes.
