This is an absolutely wonderful small hotel hidden in the countryside. Only 20 minutes from Palma Airport, but it feels like hours away. If you want beach and nightlife, don't go there and you definitely need a rental car to go anywhere. If you want to relax, have a coffee or wine on the inner court, and have a daily swim in the large swimming pool, (closed in winter), sight see on small roads all over this beautiful island and have superb service, this is your place. If you are a cycle enthusiast there is no better point to start and finish. First impression of the hotel is that of a Parador in mainland Spain complete with the heavy brick walls and a lovely inner court. Maria Contesti runs Bennoc Petit-Hotel, is the receptionist, serves breakfast and dinner with a friendliness and efficiency that is absolutely incredible. Nothing is too much for her and her way of taking care of her clients makes one not want to leave! The restaurant is nice and Naoval Labiad who prepares food in the kitchen and keeps the rooms very fresh and clean also adds to the very friendly atmosphere. If you want the best local Majorca dishes, drive 10 km to Restaurant Cas Busso also out in the middle of nowhere. You will thank me as they serve some of the best food on the whole island. I suggest to stay there in the Spring, Autumn, or even winter as we did. In the summer Majorca is overrun with tourists. Thank you Maria. We hope to be back!
Lovely place. Maria the manager is a wonderful girl. Helpful, kind, joyful. We are vegans and we had excellent breakfasts and delicious dinners
This is a review of the restaurant which goes by the promising name Exquisit. Small menu (promising too), and the food was fine, but nothing to shout about. Compared to other establishments in Palma and Llucmayor, this would be rated mediocre for flavour and presentation. Would have liked to try the roast pork or lamb but were told that there was not enough notice given. The ambience could be improved in many ways. Service was slow (not that it is a problem), sloppy (our cutlery came after the meal was served) and the feeling of welcome that others shout about was absent. Definitely no complimentary cava although other diners received theirs. That said, the house red was fine. Just a note as this is not evident in their leaflet; pets are allowed, and yes they do mess themselves in the dining room, maybe in the hotel rooms too! So don't be surprised to see the handy mop and bucket appearing. Then handling the bread rolls as they need warming up (after all other diners are waiting) with no evidence of hand washing. For those from countries where hygiene laws are a bit stricter, you may have second thoughts about eating here. You have been warned!!
I've been here only to eat at the sunset in the evening! Wonderful place with very nice surroundings. Ancient ruins from arabs well restaured. Not easy to find but a real pearl in the area! It is a hotel and it is expensive as it is a luxury hotel, but the restaurant is very god's with fresh raw material, well prepared! Cheap place for the level (30 euros per person with wine included)
