Rock Creek Lloydminster Ltd

Drove 700km today, and stopped 250km from our destination to eat a meal here and get a hotel room...this is Lloydminister's best restaurant (in our opinion), for these reasons....local, independent , fresh local ingredients, friendly staff, and an amazing broad menu...we couldn't decide what to have so we shared (1) Yorkies (awesome) and (2) Meatballs (really good) and then (3) shared the Salmon(really good)...and then too full to share anything else....the beer was cold, the wine was chilled good, the service was excellent. We sat on the patio, warm bright...and...the place was really busy for the whole time (on a Tuesday evening)...great vibe...

Our family was in the area for a couple of days. This restaurant was recommended by a friend, so we gave it a shot. The atmosphere was open and very unique. We wanted to sit on the patio, but our kids were not allowed on there, so we were invited to the dining room. Our server was very lively and so genuine and friendly. The menu was HUGE, so it took a while to read through. Prices were industry average. The wait time for our food was fair for a supper rush, given they also had a lounge and an outdoor patio seating area we couldn't physically see how busy they actually were in other parts. The food presentation was typical, as you would expect in a restaurant like this. My salmon and asparagus was good, my husband's steak meal and my kid's meals were the exact opposite. We wouldn't go out of our way to come back again for the food. Overall, we did enjoy the atmosphere and our server for our experience.

Went out for a date with my boyfriend. Worst service ever. Forgot to ask us about dessert then when we asked she said “oh I’m sorry I thought you guys were done!” Took 20 minutes to find her to get the bill to leave. She was the manager to boot. Shame

Stopped for bite to eat and couldn’t have picked a better place. The Three Trees Red was a pleasant surprise. I find most miicrobrewed beer either too bitter or too yeasty. This was smooth and very pleasant. We settled on Brie and berries and steak bites to eat. Both were excellent and tasty. Service was is as great too. We will be back.

Popped in for a beer and appetizers. Service was great. Really nice bartender who gave us great advice. Small nachos were fresh and tasted great. Salmon salad was perfectly cooked. Wraps were great and were really well presented. Highly recommended
