Bidrage med feedbackToday for lunch. great food. had the wet barky brisket, ripen and sausage. as available by dfw, many tx monthly top 50. this is worth being among some of them. Maybe the best ripening I've ever had (the dry rubies!) when they love craft bbq, it's here! super clean place and super friendly cook and staff.
Brisket was amazing. Sausage had perfect amount of juice, not too fatty. Potato salad was like my grandmother?s and all with a good vinegar based sauce. Best BBQ that I can remember having and certainly the best in Llano!!!
Some of the best BBQ around for miles, and I have been in a 100 mile radius. My first time here. The meat is tender, and the ribs fall off the bone. The prices for what you get are great! A three meat meal is enough for two, or to take home for leftovers. We'll be back!
This is a great example of don 't judge a book by it 's cover ! This unimposing barbecue joint is actually offering up some serious Q. I enjoyed the brisket which was fork-tender and deliciously smoky, also some tasty housemade coleslaw and potato salad! They offer meat plates, a chopped beef sandwich and more. House BBQ sauce is just the right mix of tangy and sweet...Friendly service and reasonable prices top it off! Run by a husband and wife team the establishment is clean and pleasant. They also offer dining out of doors if you are so inclined. The establishment is BYOB and only open Wednesday through Sunday until the BBQ runs out....beware. ...went back on a Saturday and enjoyed the pork ribs, my wife had the chopped beef sandwich and beans. Ribs were meaty and delicious, her sandwich was generous and the beans were good. Tried the cherry cobbler for dessert which was scrumptious! Glad I went back today...
I will review this BBQ establishment on the level of the greatest. One dines at Texas BBQ joints for one reason : brisket. Suffice to say, the brisket is excellent and in fact, is the best I have had in awhile. It is moist, with a perfect, crispy, caramelized surface. The only detriment was the poor BBQ sauce. The sausage was pretty good, but not great, as was the coleslaw. However, the potato salad was excellent. A worthy visit, and as I expect this to become greater patronized as it is discovered, the parking, which is already struggling, will become totally inadequate.
