I'll visit this bar when I'm in Slovenia. Large beer, large portions of delicious food, friendly service, clean and close to the center (only far enough to not be too full). What else could you ask? Love it

Near bus and train station, if you are hungry, come to this place. Eating was great and servings were heroic. Balkan plate was worth it. Prices are quite reasonable. Kellner was beautiful and super fast. Front seating area is cozy and shaded.

We came here while we waited for our bus to Zagreb. The pizza was fine. My friend had cheese with fries she liked. I think the local beer was really good. We came to quiet hours I guess between 14:00 and 15:00 and the service was relatively fast and friendly.

The service was average and the portions were descent (we didn't leave hungry), but the food was underseasoned and we didn't get the dessert which was part of the order.

Right away they have +1 for apparently having their own beer and the dark one is actually good. The light one is below average and needs to mature for a longer period it tastes young and if you know beer, you know what I mean. The food is ok, though the soup needed more salt. Salt and pepper were brought only for the main dish and even though it was not anything to write home about, there was plenty of it and the price was not THAT high. Could be a bit cheaper, but it is just acceptable. The restaurant itself is nice and clean, near the Dragon Bridge and also the main train station and bus station, so if you arrive by those, you can get a quick beer or bite in here. Nice place, nice location. HOWEVER, there are two big problems. 1) The food is just average and it feels a bit like a tourist trap. 2) The staff is somewhat and doesn 't care about you at all. We were sitting there for about an hour with two empty beers waiting for the waiter to arrive. I actually wanted to try the mixed beer too but we couldn 't order, couldn 't pay and saw the waitress take about 3 smoke breaks. We stayed silent just out of curiosity, betting on how long it 's gonna take her to notice.... she didn 't notice the glasses or the wallet on the table. Overall, it is not good but it is also not a bad place. It is an under average restaurant that has a nice gimmick of having own beer which adds a point extra.
