The Jamaican Pot - Livonia

This was my first time here actually my first time trying a jamican spot in michigan ajd this place won me over. The customer service was great my sister didnt know what she wanted. They let us sample a few things. They had beautiful spirts. The food was phenomenal. She nice lady even threw in free cakes for us. Only right for us to tip them. 10/10

I ordered the triple delight and asked for it to be spicy. It was a good spice level but because they were all in one section of the container, all the flavors mixed together, and I did not really taste 3 different flavors. This was good, but I have had better and not as good. I had a taste for jerk and I should have just ordered that. they were happy to sub more cabbage for the rice.

Saw this place listed as an essential Detroit spot and wasn’t disappointed. Got a large Jerk Chicken- generous portion served over rice with fried plantains. Delicious. Guy at the counter was very helpful. Take-out only. Steady flow of customers. Good music.

The customer service was excellent. Lovely attitude and so attentive to every customer. The food is still scrumptious I hadn’t been in a while and was a little hesitant due to some reviews. THEY ARE STILL DELICIOUS!!!!

Underwhelming experience. I ordered the extra large oxtail dinner and was told it was enough for two. It was barely enough for one. In the oxtails were cut very very thin. Would not recommend.
