Go! Sy Thai - Livonia

The food was ok, a bit expensive for the portions. I ordered extra sauce and was charged for it but didn't receive it in my delivery.

This place is terrible. They never get your order correct at least not ours. It's either chicken in our dish when we clearly order tofu or something entirely different from what we ordered. Tonight I ordered Kow Pad Prik with Tofu. Look at the menu Kow Pad Prik has Rice,Broccoli and Eggs. My dish had Peas, Carrots and Onions. I called back 10 mins after I left and they never answered the phone. Three times with incorrect orders and poor customer service I've learned my lesson never going.

I’ve had both good and bad experience with food at this particular branch of Sy Thai. On some days the food is great (the way it should taste) and on other days it may taste like no effort went into making it. As a loving customer, I would really appreciate some consistency.P.S. my call for order wasn’t picked up even after waiting for over 20mins. Quite disappointing!

I used to frequent their Midtown location, so I decided to check out the one in Livonia. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai, mild, and it was ready in no time. It had just the right amount of spice, which I really enjoyed, and the sauce was a nice yellow color rather than the usual brown peanut-style sauces I've had before. While I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't much peanut flavor, the noodles were delicious and cooked perfectly—not too soft or too firm. Plus, they gave me about ten large shrimp! The place was quite busy with takeout orders, and seating was limited, so I recommend dining in during off-peak hours or opting for carryout. Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit, and I’m looking forward to trying more dishes from the menu soon!

It's wise to be cautious with promotions like buy one, get one free for food items. Unfortunately, the quality of the food led to some unpleasant side effects, including diarrhea and acid reflux. I won't be taking advantage of such offers again in the future!
