Absolutely wonderful eating, great service and an atmosphere in a large space. in a large airy room on the floor of the bluecoat art gallery/center. the lamb was tasty and delicate and locally utilized. pudding was a first rate sticky sticky sticky toffee pudding! really rich and ingenious. service was always warm, attentive and helpful, not stuffy.

A place with various functions, they can also see some modern art exhibitions. vary from time to time. also a handy bookshop with predominantly older expenditure. the caffe is worth the visit.

Really good exhibition in the courtyard with a beautiful secondhand bookshop also. cafe was nice with a decent selection of cheap foods. beautiful garden to sit on a quiet afternoon. a pity about the noise pollution of liverpool one, but they can turn it off.
