Then the chickpeas dopiqza and the seabass with coconut red lentils and fennel. The whole thing was magic on the pallet. All the time. Overseen by great staff and I could watch everything coming in and out of the kitchen. I was tempted to order more when I saw the hummus and the rump steak. Just great unforgettable food. I walked out after all the above and a carafe of good Negromaro for less than 49 quid. A great spot. Loved it and can’t wait to come back.
Visited the first time for the lunchtime menu, £17.50 for 3 small plates plus we added a rice dish with onions from the main menu. Fried chicken, goats cheese, cauliflower bhajis and falafel were memorable but our decision to order the rice/onions dish backfired as it was awful, far too salty, dry and chewy.
Beautiful food, excellent knowledgeable staff, well worth a visit. Don't expect big portions , these are small plates, but they will leave you satisfied. Recommendation is to 2 to 3 plates per person. Personally I feel you need 3. I had the sea bass, lamb and sweet potatoes, all wonderful and packed with flavour, to drink I had the peddler light and refreshing, for those who dislike sweet cocktails. Certainly worth a visit if you are in Liverpool. I will return.
Really enjoyed the food but sadly our evening was spoiled by very poor service we waited well over an hour for our food to arrive.
Amazing food and great service. We had a mix of veggy, vegan and meat. All superb. Service was fab as well, friendly and knowledgeable
