Bidrage med feedbackOn a cold December afternoon, we decided to stop by Ma Egerton's Pub, a place we always enjoy visiting whenever we are in Liverpool City Centre. The pub has a great ambiance with two rooms, a stylish serving bar, traditional pub decor, big screens for sports, and plenty of seating options both inside and outside. During our visit, the pub was beautifully decorated for the festive season. We decided to try the real ales and both chose pale ales from Moorhouse Brewery, which were served in excellent condition. The atmosphere in the busy pub was great, and my pale ale had a well-balanced taste with hints of toffee, a hoppy flavor, and a delicious aroma with a slight bitter finish that we both enjoyed. Overall, it was a wonderful pale ale. We had a great time before moving on, as we always do when we visit Ma Egerton's Pub. The pub is located on Pudsey Street behind The Empire Theatre and is open from midday to 11pm every day. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
Ma Egerton's on Pudsey Street is a fantastic pub that offers a wide variety of drinks. It was one of many pubs my twin and I visited while exploring Liverpool city centre. This historic pub has been open since 1846 and is adorned with fixtures and features related to the theatre and silver screen. The interior is filled with pictures of famous stars from the past. We visited on a cold afternoon and enjoyed beers from Moorhouse brewery at the main bar, which were delicious and reasonably priced. Ma Egerton's is definitely worth a visit and is conveniently located just a minute's walk from Lime Street Train Station. (This is my 4th review of Ma Egerton's Pub). Opening Hours: Monday-Sunday 12:00-23:00. Public Transport: Lime Street Train Station.
After a week of sightseeing and pub-hopping in Newcastle, my twin brother and I embarked on a nearly four-hour journey back to Liverpool on a scorching hot Saturday afternoon. In need of a refreshing drink, we headed straight to Ma Egerton's Pub at Lime Street Railway Station. The pub's charming, two-roomed setup with traditional decor, a cozy serving bar, big screen TVs, and ample seating inside and outside made for a perfect setting. Arriving just in time for the Liverpool v Chelsea match, we ordered ice-cold, perfectly served beers and settled in to enjoy the game. The lively atmosphere and quality brews made for a fantastic experience. We ended up having a couple more beers before moving on, but as always, Ma Egerton's Pub never fails to deliver a good time. Situated on Pudsey Street, the pub is open Monday to Thursday from 11am to 11pm, Friday and Saturday from 11am to midnight, and Sunday from midday to 11pm. I highly recommend visiting this wonderful pub if you're in the area.

Now that some more of the coronavirus lockdown restrictions have been lifted for the hard hit hospitality sector its just great to be out and about again enjoying visiting some of the great pubs our city is justifiably famous for, one of my favourites is Ma Egerton Pub ,a pub I always look forward to dropping into. This is a very cool pub, two roomed, wonderful decor and furnishings, photo's of star's of the theatre and silver screen adorn the walls, there's a cute looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Pudsey Street. We were here on a Thursday afternoon, we track and traced and we were allocated a table were we ordered a pale ale each, served in pristine condition, we just kicked back ,chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. My pale ale was really good, a crisp, well balanced, full bodied pale ale with a big hit of hops ,hints of toffee and a delicious aroma, a classic pale ale, very refreshing on a hot afternoon. We really enjoyed our pale ale's in here, only stayed for the one each before moving on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Ma Egerton's Pub is easy to locate on Pudsey Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, Open from 11am. Sunday, Open from Midday. A great pub, if your in the area most definitely well worth checking out.
