Restaurace Wágnerka Hrad Střekov

I and my family visited Schreckenstein Castle today, food and drinks with all local people at Wagnerka Restaurant was absolutely excellent, picturesque views of the local valley. I loved it. My family also fell in love with definitelly and we decided to come back this year for the second time, late summer with family friends. Thanks for Wagnerkas perfect and super friendly hospitality on the way and thanks for the additional tip with the sauce, it will try out when back home, it was delicious with the super fluffy cloud like dumplings!

After drone shots, Wagnerka's beer came to the right time. The best team of waiters we have seen in a loooong time, they are so busy, but they manage the front of the house like kings and queens. Well done to you all people! Love <3

Hrad Strekov is a great castle to visit. It is at the better end of the castle ruins and is a very cost-effective adventure. The castle offers fantastic views of the Elbe River Valley and has a variety of rooms and views. You could do it in an hour if necessary and convenient in two hours. We brought a two-year-old and a four-year-old and they were good. There are some steep stairs, but also space to walk.

Free parking close to castle, magnificent view to Elbe Valley, interesting path through castle, pretty good restaurant with terrace in the castle area.

Absolutely outstanding place. Plus fantastic views.
