It has been a long time since I’ve seen customer service this bad, but today at the Subway on Rt. 9 in Little River, customer service hit a new low. We placed an online order at Subway and when we went in to pick it up, the employee (no name tag but said her name was Ysiri) said the order did not come through. She told us we probably ordered from another store. We tried to show her the order on our phone but she did not want to look at it. I asked what the address of the store is and she said she didn’t know. We were at the right store by the way. Next she said there’s nothing she can do. When we said we ordered through the app and paid she said it’s not her problem. I asked her how we could fix this and again was told it’s not her problem. We asked for a manager, but she said the manager went home an hour ago. We asked her to call her manager and upon the second request she dialed her phone and handed it to me. The one saving Grace here is the manager, Tammy. I told Tammy what had happened and Ysiri yelled, “He’s lying”. Tammy was able to fix the problem. Customer service is what makes businesses successful and I’m sure this is not how Subway trains their employees but to have an employee act like this with customers is unacceptable.
Absolutely horrible service. We were greeted with a very rude what do you want , and the worker seemed annoyed to have to do HER job. She scoffed when I asked for my sub toasted and rolled her eyes everytime someone ordered (we had 3 subs). The food was fine but horrible workers.
I ordered in advance using the app and was told on app it was building and would be ready when I arrived. Employee was unaware of order on my arrival until she looked it up. App ordering to save time is useless. Also app has no way to dispute failed orders or refund when order is handled improperly. Locking exit doors during business hours also seems a fire hazard. Won't be back to this store anytime soon.
