Tara Japanese Cuisine - Little Neck

I always order from Tara and I absolutely love the sushi. Omakase set was amazing, it's a must try!

There was one fish scale in one of the sushi. Besides this, everything is good.

Ordered take out: Fried squid legs- still crunchy delicious despite being a take out. Smoked Toro- toro topped with an uni, one small piece, for i believe $18? $15? Pricey but absolutely phenomenal however, that’s where it ended. Spicy tuna roll had fibrous stringy fish that you couldn’t chew, had to literally pull it out, ugh. It just ruined my dinner.

Wow, this place is amazing! I tried real wasabi for the first time and the seabream and uni were incredibly delicious.

We ordered takeout and the sushi was incredibly fresh. I highly recommend it. Having access to great sushi without having to go far is fantastic.
