Bidrage med feedbackDIVE ALERT! This is the neighborhood dive. Plenty of TVs to watch the sporting event of your choice. A nice juke box, welcoming customers and bartender. Food is anything fried LOL. Subpar chicken tenders and wings.
Roads!! Those looking for a club-ish, lounge-y bar, you 're in the wrong place. Dive bar anyone? I usually go here with coworkers for lunch or after work meetings . There really isn 't much to say about this place, other than it 's a dive bar, with a lot of regulars who are over 30 (probably over 40, but let 's give them the benefit of the doubt). The regulars here are very friendly and easy to talk to, unlike some of the more hip, young place people. Frankly, they just have better stories and aren 't angry at you for being your age. It 's a nice change of pace from the bars/clubs/lounges where YOU HAVE TO TALK LIKE THIS!! and your friend goes WHAAAT? I KNOW, RIGHT?! The staff is very friendly as well and the food is surprisingly good. Only thing is, it 's a small bar and very hard to sit anywhere else but the bar. That 's where all the action is. Besides that, great place to stop by if you want to wind down and just relax.
Kick ass bar! The bar itself is your typical bar with pool table and dart boards but that adds to the appeal. However, there menu is excellent. Don't expect just bar food. They serve up steak, chicken sandwiches, shrimp etc., in the afternon via a short order cook and even have an all-you-can-eat Thursday until the steak or the shrimp lasts, that is. The jukebox is updated frequently and has a wide variety of genres. There's also a Golden Tee/Lawn Dart video game in the corner along with your mandatory Megatouch machine. It's hard to get bored. As for the bartenders, beautiful yet knowledgable.
Been coming here for years now and the place is hard to hate. Pool table, dart board, jukebox, and a vertical golf game. The food is AMAZING. (And I know what you're thinking -how good could the food at a dive bar be? Well, it's fantastic. The day crowd and the night crowd are totally different. Comin in for lunch and a beer at 2pm leaves you surrounded by salt-of-the-Earth workers on their breaks or older retired people with interesting life stories. They treat you like family. Night crowd can get rowdy but that's not the bar's fault, I've seen bartenders and owners kick out people if they even attempt to cross the line.
You still should come with expectations in mind Meaning don't expect much and you will get it. Pedro is the man but its not worth going there when everything is out of stock, was a great lunch place but miss the old vibe.
