The service was excellent. Staff was extremely friendly. The food was not so great. Mac and cheese was very spicy. Almost like they thought Cayenne pepper was paprika. Too spicy to even eat, so a huge waste. Sweet potato souffle was extremely thick and unsweetened again couldnt eat. Cornbread was good even though we asked for dinner rolls. Green beans were ok. A little on the sweet side. The fried chicken was cooked to order so nice and hot. Very crispy but absolutely no flavor at all. Not worth $20 a plate for me.

Oh man, we went here for a family reunion with a party of 8. Everyone loved their food. I had the wing dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans and I was in heaven! I legit couldn’t stop eating! The catfish, the mac and cheese, the salmon and greens were super popular as well. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

For the food to be so expensive you would think that the service would be average, AT BEST. I’ve tried this restaurant twice and they missed the bar each time. The first time they ran out of the side items I ordered so I just wanted a full refund. The second time they brought me the wrong order, then left the drink that went with that order so it was wrong on top of wrong. Along with them not even rectifying the issue, it’s the lackluster and careless responses that’s going to burn this business to the ground. My family and I try to ensure we’re supporting black business but I’m not going to continue to support subpar service just because we have the same complexion.
