The Old Litchfield Jail

This was such an unexpected gem! Great menu options, service was impeccable, fun atmosphere and the food was amazing. Want to go back soon to try other things! Go if you have a chance, you will not be disappointed!

The place was once a jail.It’s show the cells.The foo is great.

We returned for another dose of those terrific crunchy brussels sprouts. The chopped salad is great especially when topped with nicely grilled shrimp. The beer selection is great, and the bartender turns out excellent cocktails.

Been in the bar previously, but this time ate in the restaurant (cellblock). Service was attentive, menu is casual and food is very good. Sales were fresh and crisp with generous portions of chicken added. Marketplace I'd very comfortable and seemed to draw many locals and families.

We usually go to the MP in Woodbury and always enjoy the level of service and quality of the food. It was a very different experience in Litchfield. After we were seated, it took about 30 minutes to get a glass of wine and a beer. Our server was melancholy and didn't break a smile once. My salmon was overcooked even though I had asked for it medium. Overall, just not a satisfying experience. We will stick with the Woodbury location.
