It seems like everywhere you go nowadays, businesses are digitally soliciting donations, whether for struggling hospitals or schools, or even campaigns like “save the whales” and “save the clock tower.” I find this practice disheartening, especially for large corporations that are doing quite well financially. If they’re paying their employees fairly, why do they need tips on top of that? Adding an extra dollar or two to the coffee price could reveal just how costly it is and might push customers to choose cheaper alternatives, like coffee at Circle K for $2.19. It’s time to put an end to this digital begging; it only makes the brand look as greedy as other franchises. Overall, I give the food, service, and atmosphere all a score of 5.
