Burger City - Lisle

I wish we did more research before coming here and read the menu more carefully so that's on us. We got the Texas Jalapeno burger and the Bacon Cheeseburger, not knowing/seeing that it says beef bacon. That was one of the few times where any bacon I've had on a burger was limp and very chewy. The burgers themselves were fairly plain. The only things saving this review from getting less stars are the friendly staff and the onion rings. Literally everything was good and everything came hot and juicy the burgers literally best burgers ive ever had and personsally for me best burger place and literally fries were always hot and were so good. Even after 10 minutes everything was still hot. The burgers are big to and that makes it good and how juicy it is. My husband and I craved burgers for dinner. We checked the Yelp reviews of burger places nearby. We settled on Burger City as the reviews were very good. We agree! My husband had the bourbon burger while I had the bacon cheeseburger. Both were made to order. The patties were juicy and had crispy edges from being smashed. The meat flavor was delicious! We also ordered cheese sticks and onion rings. The portions were generous and both side orders were delicious! It's a counter service restaurant and the staff are very pleasant. There are tables both inside and outside, perfect for devouring your burgers while warm!

Stopped by this place for a quick lunch since I was working down the street. I ordered the burger with beef bacon meal. Service was good, Burger Appearance was very good but the overall taste was okay. In my opinion this burger fall in between McDonald's and Portillo's. Everything was good but even the fries but it's nothing like a big fat greasy burger that you would find at a real burger joint. Would I come back. Not really.
