Himalayan Spice - Liskeard

We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident after struggling to find a place to eat in Looe or Polperro. Despite being tired and soaked from the rain, the staff greeted us warmly. Initially, I thought I would only be able to have poppadoms and rice, but then I noticed a 'vegan friendly' symbol on the menu. I asked our waitress about vegan options and she informed me that everything is made to order and can be made vegan. I was impressed! I ended up enjoying a vegetarian korma made with coconut milk, mushroom rice, momo, and a tandoori roti. The waitress even double-checked that the vegetable samosas were not vegan. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant if you find yourself in the area.

Sent by skyalayan spice last night and the restaurant is beautiful, the staff is very attentive. we were served by chico, the pickel tablet is amazing above all the cubes and cosnüsse me and my partner had a bottle gurkha bier and that was also very delicious. now the net, I had decided the huh jalfrazi and my partner for the less spicy option, the portions are immense, again very aromatic and cooked for perfection. we talked to chico after our meal and he mentioned about other curries that could be cooked if they ask the staff so if there is something that is not on the menu, they simply ask them and they can put them. we are in juli again in liskeard for our high time so that we will definitely be back. Thank you.

Found this gem of a restaurant purely random, which for a sound it was also, eating was amazing and the staff very helpful and friendly if we were not so far away we would live regular customers, definitely recommend, visit or live in cornwall.

The staff were very kind and welcoming. The ambiance gave me the impression that it was an Indian restaurant attempting to offer a more upscale dining experience after being named the best curry house in Britain. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations.

I don't understand how this curry house has the best reputation, as I've had better curry at the other restaurant in Liskeard. Since there are only two curry houses in town, I won't be visiting this one again.
