Bidrage med feedbackWell if you are looking to eat traditional Portuguese sandwiches, I highly recommend you to not spend your time on this place. The prices, the quality of the food, let alone the taste are too overrated. I ordered a classic Bifana sandwich which is supposed to be one of the best cheap food options in Portugal and I was heavily disappointed. I paid 13.5 euros for a small sandwich sided with a bunch of chips like fried potatoes. The meat used in the sandwich was of the worst kind near the joints of the animals giving you the weirdest sensation once you were chewing them. Apart from this surprising awful sensation in your mouth, i found out that the meat was sourounded by a weird sweet sauce which made too hard once fried and made even more difficult to chew. The fries were OK but I would only recommend to someone who is a chips fan. All this for 13.5 euros. However the location of the restaurant is very nice and makes up a bit for this bad choice.
Avoid! Extremely poor quality. An insult to this chef’s reputation. Shame on you for serving cold and tasteless noodles at 11.5 euros. Small portion, badly done and badly served, very overpriced.
The octopus salad was perfect, tender and fresh. You can't go wrong with Henrique Sá Pessoa, a popular tv personality in Portugal and two Michelin star chef.
I wish I had read the Google reviews before… I had not eaten the entire day after a travel nightmare so I was super hungry and this still tasted bland and boring. Had fish and chips and black pork burger disappointing all around. Nice people but that doesn’t really matter when the food is not good.
Took the 24h pork. The amount of meat that I got was ridiculous... Almost nothing. A lot of fat and bone. I took a lot of time to take the little meat out from the piece. On top of that, the sweet potato pure had no taste. Was missing a lot of flavor. What a disappointment. I recommend way more Marlene Vieira which is next to it.
