Bidrage med feedbackWe went to this restaurant twice, I have summarized the experience of both visits. The atmosphere is not too big to start, but the fact that within our hotel it makes a simple choice to eat quickly something. However, here it goes wrong....The staff, consisting of at least 3 people, has the greatest difficulties of tilting only 3 tables (yes the restaurant is not very crowded). I had to ask for a baby seat three times and they only got it after I went there to get it myself. After that we had the same problem with ordering our drinks (I had to ask 3 times to 2 waiters before someone actually brought the coke they have forgotten in the original order). So there are 3 waiters who go to the kitchen all the time and look really messy while the actual visitors of the restaurant are practically ignored, I wonder what they did. I urge the manager to check the older lady in the restaurant, she was not pleasant to treat with us and ignores us after some complaints. The other staff was much more pleasant to treat. The 25-Euro-Rind was overboiled (made good instead of moderately rare) and the chocolate cake with our desert was underboiled (relative in the rush). Apart from that, the food was quite delicious (can be too much salt), but the presentation and portion size was not recommended.
Breakfast is a typical hotel buffet and staff is helpful. There are a lot of fruit and pastries, eggs, etc., it does not change from day to day and the croissants varied from whole to cooked. But dinner was much better, the service is good and the food is very good with a decent selection of inexpensive wines.
. We stayed at Hotel Holiday Inn – Lisboa and we decided to have dinner at the on-site restaurant as we had tickets for the theatre and we had to arrive in time. And it was a very nice surprise! On the first night we had the menu of the boss of the day, which included a crab soup, a chicken stable and a chocolate dessert. The broth of soup was clear and bright and the crab ravioli superb; the chicken breast was well cooked, but juicy and the sauce together the baby vegetables and the chicken; the chocolate cake had a number of thin layers, was very smooth and accompanied by a basil sorbet quite fresh and beautiful to finish the meal... In the second night, the dinner was only “a la carte” and we had two meat dishes: a nice middle/rare group with vegetables and a small amount of frits, and a beautiful and tasty little pork carving with baby vegetables. As dessert, we tried a cheesecake of red fruits and an apple cake with vanilla sorbet. As far as wine is concerned, we had two standard wines of the restaurant – “vinho da casa” – the “Terras do Crato Branco” by “Alentejo” on the first night and the “Pérola Branco” by “Douro” on the second night. Since the first one was somewhat too citric for us, we prefer the second one that was softer on the mouth. The staff was friendly and attentive. Two nights and two great dinners that were beyond our expectations! .
The restaurant Vasco da Gama at Holiday Inn Lisbon is perfectly open. It was rather soulless in the evening we visited, but it produced a perfectly reasonable meal based on the menu description. Monkfish and prawn risotto was just that and the tagliatelle with...vegetables could not have been better described. It did what it said on the can. Two ways to find the wine list either very parochial in only local Portuguese wines or a good way to find local wines in the region, I decided to think of them and found a very pleasant Dory white. The menu was ok, but not exceptional, but if you want to 're in the hotel or close to it and a relaxed evening, there would be something you could enjoy on it for a night I could sure. Wating employees were pleasantly attentive and engaged, without pushing or alert. ' I would not recommend traveling from any distance to him, but if it is convenient for you, then it is worthwhile for a night where you do not want much travel / hiking
Had lunch with my family. Service and staff are friendly and accommodating. However, the menu is not the best with limited options. The menu is designed for business travelers and not for fine family dining. Food is OK (had Italian dishes). Bit on the pricey...side. I only recommend going there if you are tired and do not want to step out of the hotel at the end of a long day. Otherwise better options are available outside this hotel restaurant.
