Bidrage med feedbackThe place is a really traditional portoguese restaurant! Very old furniture and easy service! The food was good, and the portion alright! Quality per price is good, among the normal ones of those classic restaurants in Lisbon! A good alternative if your are in the hood!
Cuisine typique portugaise agréable. Poisson et/ou excellente viande. Pour vous conseiller de déguster une bonne cuisine portugaise! Petit restaurant mais service vraiment bon.
I was looking for a simple and normal restaurant close to my hotel, for a good and genuine local meal, nothing fancy and far away from instagrammers, food porn lovers and fancy useless things. Just real food for local people. I read some reviews of O Tacho and I went there. Menu is short (mostly fish), written by hand and in Portuguese. It changes often, and this is a very good sign. People around me were Portuguese, other good sign. Living in Venice, I am quite demanding when I eat fish but I wanted to try theirs. I had a simple and great salada de polvo (octopus salad), with fresh and very tasty ingredients. I could have eaten 2 more plates but I preferred to taste something else and I chose the grilled gilthead bream (dourada grelhada), served with a half boiled potato and carrots and boiled cabbage. I ate even the head because it was delicious. I definitely recommend O Tacho and if I had the chance to come back to Lisbon, I just know where to go and what looking for. Obrigadinho!
I visited O Tacho in my vacations and found a really local restaurant with people in the balcony drinking some “Imperial”, a restaurant inside. The food is excellent. From the appetizer to the entree, fabulous. Cheers to Nina who provided us an amazing service and experience with her suggestions and kindness.
