Bidrage med feedbackI was looking for a bit of a spicy meal, having just come off a 16-night cruise in which the food, although very good, was toned down to the lowest common denominator. Which meant not a spicy dish in sight. So an Indian restaurant appeared to be just the tonic. I was the only diner, always a worrying sign (but didn't turn out to be in this case). I had two different types of samosas for starters, and a beef vindaloo for mains. All mains appear to come with rice. My beef vindaloo was quite a decent effort and the samosas passed muster too. I will go back to try some other dishes, but on the basis of this visit, I would recommend you consider this restaurant.
Typical Indian fare right across from Praca das Flores park. Decor was quite traditional Portuguese with the lighting, all the paintings on the wall, and ceiling art. We had lamb biryani and mixed vegetable, with naan and Heinken beer. All very tasty and wonderfully spiced. Prices and value were good, quality of the food was very good. Service was also good; wait staff was friendly. Not all that crowded the night we visited. Decent place if you're seeking out something spicy or some traditional Indian food.
