Osteria Liparota - LIPARI

The food was terrific and the staff very friendly and helpful. We had sweet and sour fish balls, the fish of the day (starter) and a pasta dish. All were flavorful and satisfying. We are outside on a delightful evening. We were surprised with a birthday dessert of frozen hazelnut and chocolate ice cream cake. Delicious!! Highly recommended restaurant.

To begin with, our drink orders were forgotten. Then those tables either side of us were given their meals more quickly. Being gluten free I was advised to have rice or fish- no pasta. Then another waiter appeared saying they had gluten free pasta after I had placed the risotto order. It was sloppy, had what tasted like tinned tomato sauce with a few mussels on top. My partners fritto misto was tasty but small. Wine was good E25. Had internet problems paying the bill and owner rude and unapologetic.

Felt very welcome as a solo customer, the food is great and the location is central but also intimate; really nice staff

I più belli sono i piatti da cui si può riconoscere il locale, per il resto tutto nella media, i prezzi alle stelle ma come la maggior parte dei posti ai parchi eolici.
