Bidrage med feedbackMy fiancé discovered this restaurant and brought our youngest child here for a birthday dinner in December. It was my first time dining at Five Fat Pandas, but it won't be my last. The restaurant is part of a complex called Metro Events Zone (MEZ) which features a variety of bars and restaurants. The menu at Five Fat Pandas offers a wide selection of dishes. We ordered salt and pepper, which was the only disappointment and we wouldn't order it again; beef with broccoli, which was delicious; sweet and sour fish fillet, where the sauce complemented the fish well; Szechuan Pork, which had a nice kick of chili; pork seedlings that were tender and tasty; and the rice was so good that we had to order more. We washed our meal down with a mix of Tsingtao and Red Horse beer, which pleased everyone. The prices were reasonable and offered good value for money. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow. Nevertheless, if you're craving Chinese food and happen to be on Ayala Highway, definitely make a stop at Five Fat Pandas and join the ranks as the sixth fat Panda!
My fiancé discovered this restaurant and took our youngest son here for his birthday dinner in December. It was my first time dining at Five Fat Pandas, but it certainly won't be my last. The restaurant is located within a restaurant/bar complex called the Metro Events Zone (MEZ), which offers a variety of dining options in one area. The menu at Five Fat Pandas is well thought out and offers a wide selection of dishes. We ordered salt and pepper squid, which was disappointing and will not be ordered again; beef with broccoli, which was delicious; sweet and sour fish fillet, where the sauce overpowered the fish but the white fish was plump nonetheless; Szechuan Pork, which had a tasty chili kick; pork dumplings, which were the meatiest dumplings I've ever had; and rice and vegetables to complete our meal. We enjoyed the rice so much that we had to order another serving. We washed down our meal with a mix of Tsingtao and Red Horse beer, which made everyone happy. The prices at Five Fat Pandas are very competitive and offer great value for money. The only downside was that the waitstaff were a little hard to find. However, if you're craving Chinese food and find yourself on Ayala Highway, make sure to stop by and become the sixth fat panda!
