Friar's - Lino Lakes

We absolutely love Friars! We visit every week, and our server is fantastic! Despite being short-staffed, you can see the team working hard to ensure everyone is attended to quickly. My favorite dish is the chopped salad, and their kids' menu is excellent too! During happy hour, you can get a double drink for just $1.

The food is standard bar fare—nothing out of the ordinary. The drinks are decent as well. However, I really enjoy the pull-tab booth they have!

Friars, previously a rundown bar called Friar Tucks, has been renovated and transformed into a decent bar and grill. In 2022, you can actually get a dinner for just $5.50, which is incredibly rare these days. Additionally, they offer specials on burgers and other menu items, and they have a nice selection of sandwiches as well. If you haven't visited in a while, it's definitely worth a stop.

Randomly in Forest Lake and glad I choose to eat here! Whiskey glazed steak meal was above average and extremely affordable. Steak was perfectly cooked. The waitress was very kind and checked in many times to see if I needed anything. Will definitely goback!

The fries were outstanding, while the pulled pork was average. The service was excellent, but the volume of the game was a bit too loud, making it difficult to have a conversation.
