Heidelberg Sports Bar & Restaurant

I really wanted to give this joint a better rating because the bartender was so sweet and attentive. However, I wandered in there for the last 5 min of Stanley Cup Finals and there were two big tables of parents and small kids. The kids were running around like wild animals and screeching at the too of their lungs. I absolutely love children but do not want to see them running around or screaming in a restaurant especially at 10 pm. Do urself a favor... bypass this place if u want an adult night out.

How is this place still open? During dinner hours only one employee working in the entire place kitchen included. Which I suppose should be enough considering only 1 other table was occupied yet even then service was poor. Had to get our own menus and then was told the only food available was what was left in kitchen. Apparently they are using up what is left before they finally do the right thing and close the place for good.

If I could give this bar zero stars I would. It doesn't matter what day or time or how busy it is, you will get bad service. You can be the only table in the bar, see the entire wait staff talking at the bar, and still not get waited on. This has happened multiple times. You actually have to go to the bar and ask for service. Then once you finally get a drink, they never come back to wait on you again. I have no idea why we keep trying this bar. I am finally done. The last time they were out of many different drinks and liquor. I don't know what there business plan is here. It's like they don't want you to drink there. Never going back.

Was good when it first opened, and maybe up to a few years after, then came the downward spiral. I do try to be fair and at least stop in once a year (maybe twice to give it another chance and look for any improvements but it just seems to get worse with each visit. Staff attentiveness OK. Food Does not meet expectations for price/questionable. (Since when did nachos come with 4 tbsp of mozzarella cheese, 4 pieces of dice tomato and like 1/4 cup of beans on it? Wish I had a picture to share... The 4 of us at the table laughed, I requested a fix or the attempt to make it more into a nacho. Not happy. The nachos used to be awesome here, now they are not nacho and a joke. Atmosphere dirty, empty, gloomy. Not much more to say here. Can't keep up with the competition.

This was the biggest dump I've ever been to. I'll start with the positives and end with the negatives Positives: the water was free Negatives: it took 2 hours to get our food, they screwed up 3 orders, the pizza tastes like its fresh off a college kids coffee table from the night before, the darts are terrible, and most importantly the toilet paper is single plied. Better off going to McDonalds.
