Bidrage med feedbackI typically don’t eat biscuits and gravy, but I tried some from my friend and have to say it was probably the best I’ve ever had. We also had pancakes, which were HUGE and absolutely delicious. The veggie omelet and home fries tasted homemade, like something from Grandma’s kitchen—not a restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive, and breakfast is served all day. The special even comes with dessert! We were just passing through, but we definitely need to plan another visit.
My husband and I frequently stop for breakfast or lunch while passing through Lincoln, and the other reviews are accurate. This is a small diner with friendly staff, a clean environment, and food that meets your expectations for a street café. However, as we were finishing our lunch, we heard persistent coughing coming from the back room. When we received our check, we tried to avoid touching anything we hadn’t already touched and rushed toward the exit as the coughing continued. To our shock, we spotted a young woman in an apron who seemed unable to stop coughing. It didn't sound like a typical smoker’s cough; it was likely due to a cold or flu. If you look at my other reviews, you’ll see that I rarely leave negative ones. Based solely on the food, I would rate this place as average, but if the owner lacks the judgment to keep sick employees at home, it raises concerns about the cleanliness behind the scenes. We will not be returning to this diner.
Love keeps on going. Both breakfast and lunch are excellent. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. I appreciate how they accommodate my requests to meet my dietary needs.
This cafe is on Hwy 65 in Lincoln, MO. It's EZ when you get Thiru Lincoln. I'll make it a point for breakfast every 4-6 weeks. I'd go more often, but I just can't get too much. I've never had a breakfast there that couldn't scratch. The service was always good the servers friendly. Over the years I have found that you often get back what you do in kindness. I like people, so I generally try to treat people as I want to be treated. It looks pretty good to work in restaurants. I don't think my attitude has much influence on what comes from the kitchen, but. All my experiences at Shirley's Cafe lead me to think that they know what they do, they are proud to do it well! They are only open for breakfast and close about 2 o'clock. If you get the chance, you will be satisfied with the food, service prices.
