Royal William Iv - Lincoln

Absolute cracking pub/restaurant. It's location is beautiful right next to the canal. Brilliant in summer but not ideal in Feb. Great choice of beers and ciders and a menu that caters for all tastes. The service was spot on and the staff very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend it's got a homely feel.

Very solid pub. My “regular place” in Lincoln. Location This place is on the river and near the train station. Nearby 10 minute walking down the hill from the cathedral (down Steep Hill street) and a 1 minute walk from the riverside hotels. Across the river from the university. Staff well trained, very friendly and accommodating. Food good gastropub menu with some local food. Some of it is really excellent and a surprising value since the prices aren’t high. Some of it is just pub comfort food but still nicely presented. Bar full bar. Good to great selection depending on what you fancy. Patrons interesting mix of locals, university students and out of towners. Never heard anyone obnoxious or seen anyone dodgy. Hard to find a place that hits all these notes.

The Royal William IV is located on the waterside in Lincoln. If the weather is warm enough you can sit outside at a table overlooking the Brayford Wharf. We went for dinner and sat inside. The tables were comfortable, the food was good quality and service was friendly and efficient.
