Marigṓ - Linaria

Yannis the brother of the owner came out to greet us and showed us the fresh fish of the day and asked how we would like it cooked. We had the fresh Tuna grilled. When my Mrs ordered the Tuna, I was thinking I would be chewing for hours, as Tuna is usually very dense and heavy. The Tuna was the best 'melt in your mouth ' fish (without herbs and spices) I have had, (Anyone who has an airfryer, will know how good salmon comes out) this Tuna, was just as succulent as salmon in an airfryer. The calamari was always caught on the day and it was explained that the fresh calamari could be grilled, whereas the fried calamari would be from frozen. Everything was eaten from all the dishes we ordered.

We had to leave half way through our appetizers. We are in Hreece for 4 months and are used to flies, but we were swarmed here and only here in this lovely town. Also, there was a fish skeleton in the planter, and the arugula salad was soggy with dressing. Only time I remember abandoning a meal to go elsewhere in Greece.

The food was perfect! Very beautiful environment and particularly helpful and caring staff! Fresh fish and seafood highly recommended!

Excellent dining experience, special preparation of well-known fish dishes, courtesy and knowledge when updating the menu, affordable prices, perhaps even economical in proportion to the dishes we tasted.
