La Caborne - Limonest

We were close to the Women's World Championship this month and decided to try la caborne. first, you can book online whatever is a big plus for us. there were some thunderstorms this evening, but it was nicely tied up and. we could sit on the upper terrace and enjoy the mild evening and the beautiful view. the food was delicious and service very professional. the prices were also reasonable, to say that they could be larger than expected. my daughter got the burger who was also impressive! overall a great culinary experience that we would like to do again if the opportunity is given!

I visited a group. pleasant decor and friendly staff. but eating was not good. the starters were in order, but for a starter there were only 2 small garnes on the plate. I had the meerrot thunfish for the main who was unpleasant. it seemed pre-baked and fried that made the outside greasy. it was served as with ingwer and the menu sounded like an Asian dish, but it was served with well cooked vegetables (kartoffels and papageien). these were tasteless and did not go at all with meerrote thun. Overall, I felt that this would do a very average restaurant with lazy cooking as if something was much better. I wouldn't return.

During a week of shops in limonest I ate them three times. the service is good, and eating is usually good. instead of just eating good in general, it is really hit or miss with different dressed. the ravioli and fish/scallops are very beautiful. The Caesar salad wasn't. the salat came from the bag and the chicken was literally frozen and heated. don't get the salat.

Good service, delicious food and close to our B&B La Maison de Karen Chocolat. The presentation was beautiful and unique and I hope to return if ever in the Lyon area again.

Un samedi d´août entre amis nous amène à découvrir cette enseigne inconnu . Accueil très sympa, carte riches et variés. Des plats très bien cuisines et surtout très copieux . Une vraie bonne surprise avec en prime une superbe terrasse avec vue sur les monts du lyonnais ( insoupçonnée de l extérieur) . À découvrir sans hésiter .
