China-ki - Limerick

My partner ordered food from this place last week, I haven't set foot in there in four years due to the pig ignorant manageress. The food used to be ok, but now the portions were small and the chicken was like rubber. I'm glad I'm no longer a customer. Do yourself a favour and order your take outs from Bamboo in Groove Island or anywhere else but here.

The manager a woman is an absolute pig food not bad but bcos of her attitude I woukdnt go near this place

Like most Chinese restaraunt`s the focus seems to be on takeaway or eat-out. The evening I visited it was quiet and we were the only family their. The décor is not different from Chinese restaraunt`s I have went to in the past, with a lot of red and gold and pictures of dragons and older Chinese men with long moustaches, which I don't mind. The service was tepid, with carefully orchestrated serving without being too over friendly with us. The food is tasty and better than the average chinese I have tried out previously. The thing be watchful of is they charge the fried rice not incluisve of the meal but as a seperate food portion. So if I had asked for no rice I would have gotten a chicken satay or beef mix with no rice or chips. This should come as standard. It finished with me paying 16.00 for the beef and fried rice.

Food here is lovely, I particularly like the crispy chicken curry, crispy chilli chicken and prawn toast, really tasty. Good service when eating in too. Staff lovely but the manager is very rude. Abrupt and we saw her giving out to a lovely waiter one time and she really embarrassed him in front of everyone. I still go here regardless as food is very tasty.

I wouldn't even give it a star, staff are pig ignorant, When I got there I see no one there and a guy packing boxes and I asked are ye opened he looked at a customer and laughed at me and said of course were opened, ok and a lady took my order more ignorance from her too no manners or politeness from there felt very hostile there anyway told 10mins and when I came back the guy was opening the tubs of my takeaway after it coming from the chef and I asked for a bottle of coke with that he said but you did not order the coke or pay for one I said here is the money for a bottle of coke then he wanted receipt for the chicken satay will not go back there again.
