Beach Kapahi Thassos - Limenaria

A recently renovated hotel with great interior design . It has a nice swimming pool and the beach was right in front of the hotel. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was great. The hotel is probably located in the best place in Thassos. The owners and the staff were friendly and always ready to help. I higlhy recommend Kapahi for your next stay in Thassos. This was by far the worst Hotel we ever stayed at. We booked the Double Standard Room on Booking for 80 euros per night for a couple and we stayed for 5 nights/6 days. It did not look like the pictures and when we got there we asked to upgrade or get a different room but the receptionist asked for 95 euros EXTRA per night and he told us we have to pay in cash and we will not get an invoice. We booked a night extra by mistake and asked if we could check out a day before and get refunded but the receptionist never gave us an answer even though we asked every day. He just said he can 't tell us yet. Bathroom was in terrible condition and the toilet broke on the 4th day and there was no hot water for 5 nights. When the toilet broke on the 4th day in the afternoon the staff did NOTHING to fix it and we couldn 't use the toilet. They fixed it on the 5th day but told us to not use it until the 6th day the day of the check out) and they even suggested that we use the public toilet until we could use the toilet in the room that we PAID for. That 's when my husband got very angry and asked them to change our room and it took A LOT of convincing to get a room with a functional toilet. Finally on the last night we managed to move to another room with a functional bathroom and we even had hot water. Breakfast was buffet style and the food was THE SAME every single morning and the coffee was instant coffee, very poor quality. There were A LOT of kids, a lot of crying and yelling from breakfast 'till late at night. Avoid this Hotel if you want to relax without kids around. Towels were dirty and the room was not very clean in general. Wifi did not work Air conditioner was very dirty and smelled very bad There was only ONE power socket, it was very difficult to charge our devices We ate once at the restaurant and the food was overpriced for the quality it had, we even noticed the kitchen was not very clean I think room 202 is the worst room they have and they decided to give it to use and ruin our vacation we were there to celebrate the fact that we got married but that 's besides the point. The second room that we got 110 was so much better and it was in the same price range, only difference it was made to fit 4 guests. The guy from the reception older guy was not interested at all in our well being and when we pointed out all of these isues he didn 't care at all.
