Bidrage med feedbackWe tried the trout, the guinea pig and the chicharron. Food was on point, nice presentation and generous portions. We also try the desserts, which did not disappoint. The service was quick and polite. Definitely recommend.
Because my husband really wanted to try guinea pig (cuy) while we were in Lima, we made a pilgrimage to Tarwi in Jesús Maria. He was not disappointed. He ordered the half guinea pig plate, and it was a generous portion for one, nicely garnished with tasty potatoes in rocoto sauce and a coarse cooked grain (nicer than it sounds). Neither of us had eaten guinea pig before, so we don’t have a direct comparison. But, it was delicious and simply and expertly prepared: fried to perfection — moist but fully cooked on the inside and crispy on the outside. The service was very good; the staff were experienced and friendly and patient with our poor Spanish. There is another El Tarwi restaurant located in La Victoria
Local ventilado y el personal con una atención agradables. Pedimos trucha, cuy y por supuesto Pachamanca con un peculiar presentación: toda las carnes estaban empaquetado, logrando preservar el sabor y la temperatura. Muy recomendable.

Delicious huaracina regional food, huaraz, a city in the Peruvian highlands, has delicious food and they can find it here. ask for llunca or patasca that are suppening, or chicharron, roast pork
