Cevichería Lobo de Mar - Lima

The service and food here never disappoint! We have stayed in Miraflores several times and come here often. The restaurant is small but clean. Any dishes we have tried have been excellent, but I can’t leave Miraflores without eating the causa or ceviche here. The prices are not bad, but be prepared to have to wait to get a table if you go during peak hours (lunch rush). On our last visit, Giovanni was excellent. He gave us amazing service!

I had the fish soup. It was tasty, but lacked zing, so I requested lime and this improved the flavor. Compared to the food I’ve had in Peru this far on my trip (granted, most spent in Cusco), it seemed pricey. Perhaps this reflects the location.

Excellent mixed seafood ceviche! Portions are large. Moderate price by Lima standards, but high quality. We tried to go back again, but it was closed Sunday evening.

This is the place for great ceviche and seafood in Miraflores. We visited Lobo de Mar on our last night in Lima. The proprietor, who spoke very good English, gave us a few excellent recommendations of craft brews as well. Nice family establishment.

After church on Easter Sunday we went go Cevicheria Lobo de Mar which was recomended by friends! Glad we did, the service was fantastic as was the food!
