Veg-delight - Lilongwe

This restaurant located in the Old Town Mall is a sister branch of the same one in Blantyre. I ate here 3 days and had different items. Food was OK in general but not as good as the branch in Blantyre. Service is attentive and fast enough, they have free wifi also.

The dosa here is just as incredible as the ones we had in India. Make sure to visit on Tuesday, because it's Dosa Day—when you buy one dosa, you get another one for free! For those who are vegan, they prepare it without butter, so it's not a problem at all!

We only tried the dosas at this place, and they were out of this world! They were huge, crispy, and filled with sweet potato curry, accompanied by several dips. They're called "Butter Dosas," but you can easily request them without butter to make them vegan. The 241 dosas special every Tuesday is definitely a winner!

It's not a standout, but it's a good choice. Just be sure to inform them you're vegan and avoid dairy, as many dishes contain it. I had the chana masala, which they customized to be vegan, and it was quite delicious.

It was a real tasty bite. get the dosa, so good!
