Mum's Table - Lilongwe

Beautiful and delicious food, with a very friendly owner, Clara. We ordered the pancakes, fish dumplings, bibimbap and beef soup. All were delicious. The star of the meal was the deep-fried fish dumplings. It is not quite Korean, nor is it really reminiscent of any dish in East Asia (maybe only a few dimm-sum dishes). It is definitely innovative and delicious. Well done!

Nice place, the owner is friendly and friendly, went through the menu nice, the food was well prepared, the takeaway packaging was nice. Very large parking lot, call in advance for reservations or call at the gate. Your menu is amazing, the sushi, the chicken and all. Hands down, it is an amazing place.

Beautiful place with delicious food at affordable prices. They also serve delicious sushi roles, only place I found in Malawi with an authentic California role. Definitely recommend

Mum's table is the only place in Lilongwe where you can enjoy authentic homemade Korean meals. Although I live in Zomba, I take the long trip to LL when I get home. That's what you want! The menu ranges from traditional soups to savory finger foods (must try the chicken wings to more popular such as Bibimbap. You will see that the ingredients and sauces are usually prepared at home and its not one of these fast diner meal with MSGs. The restaurant is about 2 30 people and price ranges of MK5,000 6,000 for main meals.

Literally used to go here once a week when in lilongwe. Have tried close to everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. The prices are fair allowing you to order a variety of foods. And love that it's a family run operation who are so friendly and welcoming! Amazing food!!
