Bidrage med feedbackOn the 27 of August, my mother and I when to this restaurant and we 're verbally assaulted and felt in danger. We are touring and have very limited budget to eat outside, we didn 't know that we MUST give tips every time that we eat outside. When I didn 't include the tip after eating there, the waiter asked me if I wanted to pay it in cash or card, I just asked the tip is voluntary, isn 't it? Then he overreacted and started shouting at us in front of other customers and staff. We just got up and started walking to the door and I said thank you to the other waiter. Suddenly, the same man start shouting at us if you don 't pay the service, you don 't come back, bye bye... Of course, I reached to it as he was disrespectful with my mother and I, my mother doesn 't know how to speak English or French. Therefore, I just replied next time I 'll give you double tip , the service was great , I 'll see you next time .Suddenly, he came behind us and we thought that he was gonna hit us, he didn 't stop shouting saying push the door and get out, don 't come back . He kept doing it even when we were on the street with plenty people around and I just kept saying the same as him bye, bye .I 'm so surprised how rude this guy was with us, tourist and not aware all the time about this voluntarily obligation regarding the service, many of us are not used to this practice.
Restaurant is located inside the mall, downstairs where the Gaint Tigers store is. They moved to the other side of the mall, best Chinese food I ever had comparing to Toronto. Portions are huge, is shareable, and prices are affordable. Which made me come back twice during my trip in Montreal. The decor and atmosphere feels homey in a sense of when you go to an old Chinese restaurant as a kid. Great childhood memories. ?
Been coming here for many years. Always a good experience; food's great and portions are generous. Best Salt-and-Pepper Tofu in the city and we also love their veggie noodle plate.
Been going here for 30 years. Hands down the best Chinese food in Montreal. You can’t go wrong with anything in the menu. Wonton soup, general tao, shrimp fried rice, all noodle type dishes and chicken in hot sauce to just name a few are just staple dishes they nail. The portions are also very big. Don’t think twice and indulge in the greatness this restaurant will serve you.
The food tastes really good. They are not best for the service but the waiters are still friendly. Of all the wonton soups and Cantonese noodles I’ve tasted, they have the best ones.
