Le vagabond - L'Île-d'Yeu

We come here to get our galettes and crepes washed down by a pichet of cider and enjoy the bustle of a little harbor tucked away from the maddening crowd. We are never dissppointed.

This is an excellent restaurant with great staff from top to bottom. Their menu is thorough, but difficult with our pathetic French. Having said that our chef salad and galette was outstanding and we were real impressed watch others being served.

We were headed for somewhere else when somebody recommended this place, so we had a look. We were rewarded with excellent galettes and crepes. Friendly and efficient staff helps a lot. We would like to have eaten on the terrace but it was not possible, but I have no hesitation in giving this place top marks.

Nous avons tous beaucoup apprécié vos crêpes, qu'elles soient salées ou sucrées. Un excellent choix de crêpes et un service agréable. Nous sommes arrivés vers 12h20. Pour le déjeuner, nous ne pouvions pas réserver et avons eu la dernière table, mais aucun problème si vous arrivez vers 13h20.

Located next to the beautiful port of La Meule, this creperie offers high-quality galettes, although we were less convinced by the crepes. The service is friendly and we had a pleasant dinner there.
