Lemongrass Grill Kauai - Lihue

My man and I ate there 4/9 for dinner. we both order fish mai mai and it was delicious. side and roll were so good. service was great and very friendly. the atmosphere was nice and quiet. we'll be back before we leave town!

Review for vegetarians. This is a heaven for us. Three great dishes the most I found in any other restaurant on the island. Being an Indian, I liked the tofu recipe. My family enjoyed sea food as well. Great selection of drinks and cocktails to add to the food.

Busy place, but surprisingly fast service and our meals arrived within ten minutes of ordering. Very tasty with a good variety of choice. I would definitely stop back the next time we're on the island.

I always look forward to dining at the Lemongrass when I visit Kauai. I am here with friends who have never experienced Hawaii. I told them this was my favorite restaurant. Unfortunately the service was horrible. Our waitress was rude from the moment she greeted us. She was very friendly to the tables around us. The difference was staggering. We tipped over 20% and we regret it. I’m not sure I will dine here again, and I definitely won’t recommend it based on this experience!

Terrible place, dirty, and smells bad. Service below the any restaurant in the area, very unprofessional. The server was very unfriendly. We ordered sea bass, scallops, cesar salad and calamari. One thing you could eat was the caesar salad, and not to mention, the added chicken exceeded the price of the salad. The 3 pieces of calamari were much too breaded. The Scallops were tasteless. Well, it was time for the sea bass in a hurry, the frostbitten fish still sticking flour inside, the breaded filet fish had more breading than fish and everything was put on rice that was hard as a stone and covered with 2 gross sauces. Everything was swimming, it was a pity that it would not float away. The dish was sprinkled with chopped macadamia nuts 2 slices of cucumber and traces of paprika. The beer was fine. Stay away from this place!
