Long Island Bagel Cafe - Lido Beach

Never has a bagel place been run more inefficiently. Too bad Jon Taffer isn’t available for a Bagel Rescue because this is the place that needs it most. This store is the epitome of inefficiency. They have no concept of how to move a line and often have 8 10 people behind the counter with two to three of them standing around, avoiding eye contact, and doing nothing while a line of customers extends around the entire store. One person stands and aimlessly wipes the counter by the coffee which is already clean and doesn’t offer to take or make an order or to ring someone up. The owner of this store should seriously take some tips from every other NY bagel place and learn how to use staff his staff and fill orders. Even on days when the place is empty, the wait is ridiculous. Moreover, they charge $10 for a mediocre bacon egg and cheese sandwich but can’t manage to ensure the bacon isn’t half raw and they charge $1 extra to toast a muffin but instead take the lazy way out and microwave it. Go somewhere else what a joke

Bagels here are delicous and i always love their sandwhiches with pasta salad for a beach day!

Bad service for online orders and my order has the wrong cream cheese, I ordered tofutti (Im lactose intolerant). I don’t usually leave reviews but this deserved it. Besides this there was one really cool dude there that helped me out cheers to him.

First and last time coming to this place. Some very arrogant people working there with nasty attitude and are only nice to certain people. Shame.

All that you want out of a bagel shop plus outdoor setting.
