A Carrittaria - Licodia eubea

There are not many places to eat out in the small village of Licodia Eubea. This restaurant provides a great spot for a casual meal or a take away pizza or two. The night we went it was all locals popping in for a quick meal, drink at the bar or collect their pizzas- we appeared to be the only tourists. Staff were friendly and service was efficient. The meal we had was wholesome and not expensive. I would certainly recommend it as a great place for families to eat or to get a takeaway meal.

We had a lovely dinner at A Carritaria yesterday while visiting Licodia.Food was excellent,good sized portions(one needs a to go there with an appetite!)efficient service.Good value for money.

Salvatore, Vincenzo and our waitress (whose name we did not get) are the MOST welcoming people you will ever meet. The menu is simple (in Italian) but they are only too happy to help you understand it. The food is excellent and prepared perfectly. We both had a pasta dish one night and we each had a pizza the next night. When you receive your bill you can expect the shock of your life, it's very inexpensive. We had an ante pasta each, a pasta course each, 1/2 litre of wine and 2 espresso all for a grand total of 17,50 euro. We LOVE this place.

Nn I had tried again the new excellent Neapolitan management pizza, as the tradition wants with the edge often, and I must also compliment with the welcome and the speed of service

Great pizza, possibility to choose different doughs. the external dehor is narrow but very welcoming, thought for the good. recommended local. the only new wait, but I was just once not to say it's a constant. I'll be right back.
