Vintage Tearoom - Lichfield

Disappointed. My mum and her two friends have been on a number of occasions. Unfortunately on both occasions when I have tried to book they do not take bookings over the phone even when I say that I will pop up and take the food list and pay a deposit. They always say to book on line and message. Both times I did this and no one got back to me so I ended up ringing and she eventually booked me over the phone. Tried again today to book for tomorrow and it was 'sorry you need to message, they are ploughing through them now '. What is the point as they didn 't get back to me last time. They do not open on a Monday/Tuesday and do not deal with messages. It is unfortunate as my mum is now going somewhere else as it is always a nightmare booking.

Five stars! This is a wonderful place! The staff were fantastic and very accommodating with our baby shower party! Staff always checked in and made sure very guest was comfortable. No matter how many photos I asked to be taken of us they smiled and did as we asked. Drinks were brought to our table so we didn’t have to get up. The decorations and attention to detail was more than what we asked for! The ladies here well and truly out did themselves for us. 100% would recommend going to visit the tearoom! For us all to have a group photo the lady even moved furniture around got provided a bench for all our shorter guests. If you’re looking for a place we’re the staff go above and beyond for all your needs this is your place! We had a fantastic day and this venue made it better. Thank you so much vintage tearoom! All I can say is wow and what a find! We visited this lovely tea room for the first time and it certainly won’t be the last! The food was amazing with really large cake size portions and lovely sandwiches on soft granary bread. The Staff were lovely, the tea room very clean and nicely decorated and all set in lovely grounds. The owner even gave us some tips to help our young daughter with her baking! If you’re looking for a tea room then I would highly recommend visiting this gem!

If you want delicious cakes, amazing afternoon teas or just a sandwich or panini, in lovely vintage inspired surroundings, then this is the place for you. Different cakes slices each week, some a bit different but always fresh delicious. Best to book especially at a weekend. Staff are always lovely and welcoming. Due to food being fresh you can sometimes have a little wait, but to be honest it’s worth it. Great for birthday groups or a baby shower.
