The Acorn Inn Pub - Lichfield

We visited this restaurant on Boxing Day while in Lichfield. It was not very busy during our visit. We ordered a jalfrezi and an all day brunch. The meals took a long time to arrive, and when they did, we were told that the wrong curry had been prepared, causing the rest of our food to go cold. The jalfrezi was hot, but everything else was lukewarm - chips, bacon, eggs, and even the naan bread was cold. The young man who served us was polite and efficient, but the two young ladies seemed uninterested in their work. There were several dirty tables waiting to be cleared, which contributed to the slow service. The menus were dirty and in need of cleaning, and the ladies' restroom was in need of renovation. The men's restroom was okay. Overall, it was not a great experience and the restaurant was very average at best. We would not be eager to return for another meal.

Went here with students from work before seeing a show at the garrick. The service was absolutely amazing, the staff were so lovely and helpful. We were a massive group and all our food came out perfect , in great timing and all tasted amazing!! Special shout out to Chris for everything you did for us! We can't wait to come back

This is always a fantastic spot to enjoy drinks and food. Libby, the bartender, was exceptional - very professional, friendly, and willing to help even when she wasn't attending to me. I will definitely be coming back again. Keep up the great work!

Two out of three coffee machines were not working. Tables were not cleared of dirty plates, etc. The ladies' toilets were filthy and need an update. The whole pub is in need of a deep clean. The staff are rude, surly, and lazy. One employee stood in front of me at the bar and didn't even ask what I wanted. This shows poor management for condoning this sort of behavior. I have been coming here for years, but not anymore.
