Taste Of Belgium Liberty Township

Small restaurant on the plaza. Surprisingly, we’re not busy at all. Yummy food. Great service.

It was very lackluster. My potatoes were dry, not cooked as ordered. The entire plate of food was oversalted (and we love salt on our food) so much so that I couldn't finish it. It took 30 mins to get our food and we were the second table of the day. Didn't see our waitress for 15 of those 30 mins. Afterwards I wished we would have gone to First Watch which was just around the corner. It's been a few years since I've had TOB and I don't recall it being so bad. Perhaps it's just this location?

This location of TOB missed all marks except for our service. We love TOB at Rookwood and OTR, but this one was a completely different experience. We made a reservation for 5pm for 6 people. We arrived and the place was nearly empty. We were there until around 6:30 and it was the same empty. Our server was attentive and good, but our food was a different story. 4 of us got their signature chicken and waffle. The chicken was much thinner than usual and the salad tasted like someone dumped a bottle of salt on the salad. None of us could eat our salads it was like eating pure salt. Thankfully when brought to our server’s attention, she did replace our salads and brought different dressings. The burger one person got was completely tasteless. Amongst all this, the music overhead was very loud and kept going in and out. It would play for 30 seconds or so and then just stop, then after 1 minute or so blare back on. It became very annoying so we brought it to our server’s attention and she did have them turn it off. I just can’t understand why none of the employees thought to turn it off we sat and listened to it for at least 45 minutes thinking it might get better or stay on or turn off completely. Final statement is we won’t be back to this location. Our server was great no blame to her, but the rest food, ambiance, noise all were disappointing.

We were greeted by this very nice lady and had the best service with this girl named evey and the food was amazing 10/10 definitely will come again
