I have eaten here many times now. Great smartly priced alternative to the other two restaurants in the village. locals tend to eat there and the service is very friendly. Great food and I also like the open kitchen. New deck is going to...be great this summer. Best service in village.

Le Landskron Leymen’s latest restaurant – the fourth in a village of 1200 people opened its doors in January 2016 and is already building a good reputation by word of mouth. The owner wants to create a friendly, sociable, locally supported restaurant for...a convivial clientele. The menu features a selection of classic country French starters starting at €5.50), including foie gras de canard maison €17), several traditional meat dishes €16 – €32) including a variety of filets de boeuf and entrecotes, with a couple of fish dishes filets de carpe à la semoule, and I had a delicious) filet de sandre et sa crème de champignons parfumée au pastis, avec risotto at €19) and a single vegetarian option feuilleté de légumes de saison et risotto aux champignons at €15.50), with a good selection of traditional French desserts and a mostly French and local wine list. The interior is simple and unadorned, reflecting the owner’s conviction that the 100% home cooking will be the key attraction.
